Dos Toros is all about serving food that is clean, whole, fresh and delicious. We are made up of runners, yogis, spinners, vegetarians, whole-food enthusiasts, and even dietitians. Our food has no processed or artificial ingredients and next to no added sugar (except for a small amount of sugar in our smokey hot sauce and honey in our lime vinaigrette salad dressing). We source 100% naturally raised protein – free of antibiotics and hormones, all of our locations compost food waste, and we cook our recipes from scratch, every day.

We serve a focused menu that is simple, while allowing space for a lot of customization. As a result, you can choose to have an epic carnitas burrito or a pair of protein packed low calorie grilled chicken tacos. You can eat vegan one day and gluten-free the next. Low Calorie Salad

Although low in calories, this salad is high in fiber and will leave you feeling satiated. Our recipes are simple, which makes our meals naturally low calorie. In this salad, we have included our 2018 Winter market vegetables, made with sauteed sweet potatoes, wax beans, and baby spinach, over a bed of romaine lettuce and topped with pinto beans, peppers and onions, tomato salsa, our mild smokey hot sauce and guacamole.

Gluten Free Tacos

Tacos are a great way to eat gluten free while still enjoying the yumminess of a tortilla. Ours are 100% corn and are supplied (in NYC) by our partner Masienda who sources heirloom corn varieties from the Oaxaca region of Mexico, for an authentic depth of flavor. One taco makes for a great snack, but for a meal we suggest two tacos – one with our seasonal Market Vegetables and the other with our naturally raised grilled steak. We melt a slice of (naturally lactose-free) monterey jack right onto the tortilla. Adding our delicious guacamole provides you with filling heart-healthy fats and our verde hot sauce adds noticeable spice that kick starts your metabolism. Our tomato salsa is straightforward and delicious with roma tomatoes, cilantro, and red onions tossed in lime juice.

Vegan Burrito

As many of us are shifting towards a more plant-based diet, DT is more focused than ever on serving our vegan and vegetarian guests. We feel great about offering veggies, grains and legumes that are delicious, healthy, sustainable, and socially conscious. We start by steaming a 13” flour tortilla which makes it deliciously moist and pliable. We recommend having farro as a base and adding pinto beans in order to round out a complete protein source. Our super flavorful market vegetables provide a healthy source of nutrients and fiber. Top off your meal with some peppers and onions, as well as our colorful sweet corn to introduce a diversity of flavor and texture. Add on our guacamole for a smooth and flavorful source of healthy fat. Finally - if you can handle the heat, the citrus flavor in our habanero hot sauce is a subtle reward.
